Why do I purchase a book of short stories, in hardcover, that only contains two stories I do not own in another form?

See I think that's a perfectly logical and warranted purchase.
The covers are similar, but Shaun Tan did the artowrk for Pretty Monsters, and it's lovely.
i'D BUY IT on just the cover alone.
